Clifford D. Silbaugh, age 71, of Milford, Ohio formerly of Coal Center, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in his home.

He was born Sunday, January 30, 1944 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania son of Noah Silbaugh and Lacy (Teets) Silbaugh.

Mr. Silbaugh was a 1962 graduate of North Union High School.

He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War serving from 1964 to 1968. For his services, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and the Army Commendation Medal.

He was employed by Dyno Nobel Chemical Company in Donora, Pa., as a Shift Supervisor.

He attended the New Life Free Methodist Church, Smock, Pa.

Clifford’s interests included fishing and stock car racing.

Always willing to help other people, he could fix and repair most anything

On Monday, March 14, 1966, he married Ada Mary (Smith) Silbaugh She passed away on Friday, June 7, 1996.

Also deceased are his parents; and six brothers, James Silbaugh, Walt Silbaugh, Donald Silbaug, Ernest Silbaugh, Robert Silbaugh, and William Silbaugh.

Surviving are two children: Daniel Silbaugh and wife Tabitha of Brownsville, Pa., Lori Carnathan and husband James of Loveland, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Craig, Brandon and Eric Silbaugh, Abigail and Nathaniel Carnathan, Maddison, Olivia and Lillian McCracken; four sisters: Dorothy Nicklow of Oliver, Pa., Lucy Pierce (Vernon) of Brier Hill, Pa., Shirley Victor of Fairchance, Pa., and Darlene Reed (Jim) of Uniontown, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received today, May 31, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., where Services will be held Monday, June 1, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kenneth Walls officiating

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by the Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post 705, Centerville, Pa.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the New Life Free Methodist Church, 2370 Pittsburgh Road, Smock, PA 15480.
