Rebecca Ann “Becky” (Moyer) Williams, R.N.
Rebecca Ann (Moyer) Williams, R.N., age 71, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born on Monday, June 5, 1944 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania daughter of Clarence Evan Moyer and Lucille (Elleard) Moyer.
Becky graduated from Uniontown High School Class of 1962 and from West Penn School of Nursing in 1965.
She played clarinet in the Uniontown High School Marching Band.
She worked as a Register Nurse for Potsdam Hospital, Scranton Visiting Nurses, Spring Church Cerebral Palsy Center, Head Start of Fayette County, and Albert Gallatin Home Health Care.
Becky was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon.
She sang in all the choirs of the Second Presbyterian Church and also the Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed playing golf and cards with her family and friends.
Left to cherish Becky’s memory are her loving husband of forty-nine years, Paul Williams, and their daughter, Kristin Williams, of Uniontown; two sisters: Sydney Walsh of Charles Town, West Virginia and Mary Sue Pollock of Shallotte, North Carolina; and many friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m.
Visitation will continue in the TRINITY UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, corner of West Fayette Street and Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a Service Celebrating Becky’s Life at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be private.
