Keith Allen Conaway, age 51 of Allison 2, Pa., passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

He was born November 10, 1964 in Brownsville, a son of Ronald Conaway, of Allison, Pa., and the late Rose Marie Robaugh Conaway.

Keith was employed as a Bakery Clerk, at Giant Eagle Store, Uniontown, for twenty-five years.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, and he loved Civil War Re-Enacting. He was a Staff Sergeant in the 40th Pennsylvania Infantry 11th Reserve Company and he and his unit attended by invitation only, the opening of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War at Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.

Keith was also a member of the board of directors at Nemacolin Castle, Brownsville, and he was President and Chief of the Allison 2 Fire Department, and a member of the Fayette County Fireman’s Association.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roy N. Brashear.

Surviving in addition to his father, are his loving wife of eighteen years, Tina Brashear Conaway; daughter, Jenna Stump and husband, Shawn, of Blainesburg, Pa.; sisters, Rose Marie Conaway and fiancée, Jim Burrell, of West Virginia, Colleen Plavi, and husband, B. J., of Uniontown, Pa., brothers: his twin brother, Kevin Conaway, Ronnie Conaway, Brian Conaway, and Shawn Conaway, all of Allison, Pa., mother – in – law, Jackie Brashear, of New Salem, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Rocky and Kim Brashear, of Brier Hill, and Tim Brashear and fiancée, Melody Ferea, of Brier Hill, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 1 Legion St., Republic, Pa., on Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday, November 16, 2015 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Malen Stump, Officiating.

Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
