State police investigating video taping incident at Laurel Highlands High School
State police said they are investigating allegations that a female student at Laurel Highlands High School videotaped another female student without her knowledge.
Police said the girl in the video was taped while dressing in the locker room, and the video was shared over social media.
Police said they were called to the school Friday, and took various items of evidence.
Trooper Stefani Lucas said details are limited, and expected to have more information to release on Monday.
She said police wanted to release something about the investigation in case anyone else may have seen the post or viewed the video after it was posted on social media.
District superintendent Jesse Wallace declined to release any additional details on the matter.
“Right now, it’s in police hands. We’re cooperating with them in any manner that they need,” said Wallace.
Police ask anyone who has information or who has seen the video contact them at 724-439-7111.
