Josephine (Lanko) Provance
Josephine (Lanko) Provance, age 74, of Smithfield, Pennsylvania died on Friday, October 2, 2015 and went to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
She was born on Friday, December 20, 1940 in Fairchance, Pa. the daughter of Albert James Pastories and Anna Lanko Pastories.
Josephine was a member of Fairchance Apostolic Revival Center.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husband of 55 years, Donald R. Provance ‘Ray’ on Saturday, November 29, 2014; grandson, James Marshall Weakland Jr.; sister, Patsy Preston; and brother, James Albert Pastories.
Surviving are her daughter Vicky Provance and her fiance’ Kelly Clapper, James Creek, Pa.; a granddaughter, Ashley Ann Weakland; great grandson, Riley James Weakland; brothers: Donald Lanko and Larry Pastories; very close nephew, William Matthew Lanko; several other nephews, nieces and family members.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today, October 5, 2015 until 10:00 a.m., the hour of Service. Pastor Shirley Victor will officiate.
Interment will follow in Provance Cemetery, White Rock, Georges Township, Pennsylvania.
Visitation was also held Sunday, October 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
