Duane R. Wright
Duane R. Wright, age 91, of Allison Two, Pa., went to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from his home.
He was born on Wednesday, July 9, 1924 in Daisytown, Pa., a son of Raymond Wright and Margaret (Hyatt) Wright.
Duane was a member and trustee of Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, Smock, Pa.
He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army Air Force.
He was a member of Brownsville Lodge No. 60 F. & A.M., Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, 32nd Degree Mason (Scottish Rite, and the Pennsylvania State Grange.
He worked as a Coal Sampler in the Coal Preparation Plant in LaBelle, Pa.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Pitchard and Henrietta Williams; and two brothers, Dale Wright and Leslie Wright
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 63 years, Gaye G. (Linderman) Wright; three children: Duane Leslie Wright and wife Marcy of Houston, Pa., and twins Denise Hickle and husband William of Lemont Furnace, Pa., and Dale Arnold Wright and Tammy of Tower Hill, Pa.; three grand children: Jobie Wright and wife Leanna, Jerry Dale Brumley and Jen, Danielle Gaye Paschke; five great-grandchildren: Chloe Wright, Martyna Brumley, Olivia Brumley-Johnson, Isabella Paschke, and Willow Brumley; one sister, Evelyn Bellovich of California, Pa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, October 8, 2015 until 11:00 a.m. when a Funeral Service will be held with Pastor Joe DiDonato officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Lafayette Memorial Park
The Brownsville Lodge No. 60 F. & A.M. will conduct a Masonic Service in the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
