George M. Pepper
George M. Pepper, age 99, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at his home in Markleysburg, Pa.
He was born on Saturday August 19, 1916 in Sleeper, Missouri and raised in Iowa, the son of George H. Pepper and Nettie (Leber) Pepper.
George was a member of the Union Chapel Church.
George was a Founding Member of the Markleysburg-Henry Clay Fire Department.
He was predeceased by his parents; his loving wife, Annabelle (Martin) Pepper; brother, Melvin Pepper; and his twin sister, Joyce Reinert.
Surviving are three children: Priscilla Tissue and husband Dave of Markleysburg, Pa., Linda Rexrode and husband Pastor Dale Rexrode of Farmington, Pa., Bryon Pepper of Farmington, Pa.; six grandchildren: Steve Johnson and wife Angel, Shawn Johnson and wife Holly, Angie Yankulic and husband Paul, Ginger Davis and husband the Rev. Steve, Shane Rexrode, Ashley Moreau and husband Aaron; ten great grand children; one great great grandson; two brothers and two sisters: Rus Pepper, Margaret Way, Ethel Harvey, Vernon Pepper all of Iowa.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, October 8, 2015 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Dale Rexrode officiating.
Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery, Farmington.
