Charles Addison Paluso
Charles Addison Paluso, Jr., 75, of Belle Vernon, Pa., passed away peacefully, on Monday October 19, 2015, after a battle with cancer in the Golden Living Center in Uniontown, Pa.
He was also fondly known by his friends and family as ‘Jr.’ or ‘Chuck’.
Chuck was born on July 26, 1940 in Fallowfield Twp., a son of the late Charles A. and Ona Mae (Henry) Paluso, Sr.
Chuck was a member of Fallowfield Twp. Baptist Church, Senior Life in Uniontown, Charleroi Senior Center and Monongahela Senior Center, volunteering for Meals on Wheels; he met his love, Joan, now his wife of 29 years.
He also worked for Montgomery Ward and Marsh Tire for several years and operated the Amoco Gas Station in Charleroi.
Chuck enjoyed the art of the find at Auctions, flea markets and yard sales.
He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Charleroi McDonalds and the Senior Centers.
Survived by his wife Joan Scliffet Paluso; two stepdaughters Sheri L. (Ainsley) and Eric Gotthleld of Bentleyville, and Heather (Ainsley) and Jesse Kerr of Transfer, Pa., and one grandson Justin E. Gottheld of State College; three brothers: Keith E. “Babe” Paluso and wife Peggie of Blytheville, Ark., Dennis L. Paluso and wife Theresa of Charleroi, and Bobby L. and Paluso and wife Joni of Charleroi; and sister Kathryn (Kathy) J. Vincent and husband Bruce of Lakewood, Colo.
Also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 24, at 1 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME &Amp; CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Pa.
In lieu of other memorial tokens, the family requests donations to the Fallowfield Twp. Baptist Church, 68 Ernest Avenue, Monongahela, Pa. 15063.
