Anna C. (Firestone) Kvasnovsky
Anna C. (Firestone) Kvasnovsky, age 79, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving sons on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Golden Living Center.
She was born on Sunday, November 10, 1935 in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Norman Firestone and Rose (Hochmuth) Firestone
Anna was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church.
She retired from the Uniontown Hospital where she worked as a Dietician and Cook for nearly 30 years.
She was strong willed and hard working.
She was lovingly known as ‘Skeeter’ by her family and friends.
Her parents, and her beloved husband of 50 years, Stephen P. Kvasnovsky Sr., preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Stephen P. Kvasnovsky Jr. and his wife Rose Ann and Alan H. Kvasnovsky and his wife Cheryl all of York, Pennsylvania; three grandsons: Stephen P. Kvasnovsky III, Alan David Kvasnovsky, and Andrew Joseph Kvasnovsky; and her brother Donald Firestone of Ohio.
Friends will be received in STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown Pa., today, Monday, October 26, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 until 9:15 a.m. when the Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as the Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa
The Parish Wake Service will be held at the funeral home today at 3:30 p.m.
