Irene (Kepich) Marshall, age 90, of Fredericktown, Pa., (Centerville Borough) passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in The Donnell House, Washington, Pa.

She was born on Saturday February 14, 1925 in Richeyville, Pa., a daughter of Michael Kepich Sr. and Julia (Resetar) Kepich.

Irene graduated from Centerville High School, Class of 1944.

Mrs. Marshall was a longtime member of Saint Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Richeyville, Pa.

For many years, Mrs. Marshall was employed by the Pittsburgh Mercantile Store, Richeyville, Pa.

Irene enjoyed baking and cooking for her family.

Her favorite pastimes were watching old movies and listening to classical music.

On Friday, September 29, 1950, Irene married George E. Marshall. He passed away on Saturday February 1, 1992.

Also deceased are her parents; four brothers, John Kepich, Mike Kepich, Joe Kepich and Steve Kepich; and one sister, Mary Leitner.

Irene was the last of her immediate family.

Surviving are one son, George M. Marshall at home; three nieces: Bonnie Zuro (Steve) of Alexandria, Virginia, Mary Lou Leitner of Alexandria, Virginia and Marcy Kepich Martelli of Toledo, Ohio; and one nephew, Mike Kepich (Linda) of Parma, Ohio.

Friends will be received today, Tuesday, October 27, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., where Services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, at 12 Noon. Reverend Father Paul J. Grunebach will officiate.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
