Rita Jean (Ezzi) Fudala, R.N., age 52, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, October 27, 2015 with her loving family at her side.

She was born on Wednesday, July 3, 1963 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of Ida (Testa) Ezzi of Uniontown, Pa., and the now late Joseph Richard Ezzi.

In addition to her loving father, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eric Stanley Fudala on Saturday, July 14, 2012; and her father-in-law, Ronald S. Fudala.

Rita was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.

She had great faith in her church.

She was a dedicated Registered Nurse at the Uniontown Hospital for 31 years and was the Clinical Manager of Same Day Surgery and the PACU.

She considered her biggest accomplishment to be her two sons, Eric and Ronnie. She was so proud of both of them and loved being a “sports mom.” She attended their games and supported both of them through all of their endeavors. To say she was proud of them would be an understatement. Her dedication to her sons’ happiness and well-being was exemplary of the finest in motherhood.

In addition to her loving mother, Ida, she is survived by her loving sons: Eric J. Fudala of Bethel Park, Pa., and Ronald S. Fudala II of Uniontown, Pa.; her brother, Ricardo V. Ezzi and his wife Lisa of Uniontown, Pa.; sisters: Regina Shaffer and husband Arnold of Uniontown, Pa., and Lisa McNamara of Pittsburgh, Pa.; her mother-in-law, June Fudala of Johnstown, Pa.; brother-in-law, Ron Fudala and wife Cindy, St. Augustine Florida; sister-in-law, Tyrene McKolosky and husband Dennis of Johnstown, Pa.; special nephews: Ricardo Ezzi and Nicholas Ezzi; many other loving nieces and nephews whom she loved; other relatives; and many friends.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday morning until 9:15 a.m. when parting prayers will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill Street.

Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery Uniontown.

A Parish Wake Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

“A beautiful life that came to an end, she died as she lived, everyone’s friend. In our hearts a memory will always be kept of one that we loved and will never forget.”
