North Union gas station robbed

State police said a man robbed the Exxon gas station in North Union Township at gunpoint Wednesday evening.

Police described the man as white, about 5 feet, 10 inches, with a thin build. They said he was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, and had a black bandanna covering his mouth.

Police said he fled the Pittsburgh Street store around 7:30 p.m. with two cash registers, containing an undetermined amount of money.
