A Mather woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Monday in Morgan Township, police said.

Darla Lynn Bricker, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene just after 6 a.m. by Greene County Coroner Greg Rohanna.

Her cause of death is pending an autopsy.

State police said it appeared Bricker suffered a medical emergency at about 4:40 a.m. while driving on State Route 188. They said her vehicle crossed the road and stopped along a fence, then traveled through the fence and down a hill about 300 feet, hitting a utility pole.
