James B. Peffer, age 75, Lemont Furnace, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

James was born on Monday, September 23, 1940 in Masontown, Pa., son of John L. Cash and Catherine (Bradley) Cash

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie (Mackey) Peffer; a sister, Dawn Cash; his parets; and his stepfather Hugh M. Cash.

James is survived by a son, James B. Peffer Jr. and his wife Barbara of Brownsville, Pa.; a granddaughter, Evan Elizabeth Peffer; two brothers: Dale Cash and Roger Cash and his wife Mary; three sisters: Bonnie Custer and her husband Frank, Kathy Taylor and her husband Albert, Gayle Stewart and her husband Harry “Gene”; his loving friend and caretaker, Roberta Crossland “Babe” and her husband Jim and their children Jay Crossland, Erin “Sissy” Leonard and her husband Tim, and Jennifer Landman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown Pa., on Sunday, April 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 25, from 9 until 10 a.m. at which time a Service will be held.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa
