Valerie Lynn (Barish) Williams, 58, Half Moon Bay, California passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 surrounded by family and friends, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on Monday, July 22, 1957 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania
Valerie will be remembered as an incredible person and amazing spirit who lit up every room and made the world a better place.
She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother who had a huge passion for her family, friends and enjoying life.
She had a very successful career in the field of Human Resources for over 35 years and worked as a Human Resources Executive for many successful companies.
She was predeceased by her parents, George Barish and Mildred (Bukovac) Barish; and brothers, George Barish and Donald Barish.
Valerie is survived by her husband, Martin D. Williams; son Dominique Alexander Williams; step daughter, Marti Nikko Bradley; grandson, Levi Bradley; son-in-law, Steven Bradley; brothers, Kenneth (Lillian) Barish of McMurray, Pa., and Lawrence (Margie) Barish, Greensburg, Pa.; sisters-in-law: Beverly Butkevich Barish of Florida, Victoria Shelton Barish of North Carolina. Valerie also leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; also numerous cousins and close friends
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in SAINT MARY (NATIVITY) ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 61 North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as the Celebrant.
