Janice E. (Brisky) Kinder-Shutterly, age 74, of Belle Vernon, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

A daughter of the late George Brisky and Hazel (Shaw) Brisky, she was born in McKeesport, Pa., on Sunday, February 15, 1942.

Janice lived in Monongahela, Pa., until moving to Belle Vernon in 1977.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She worked for Gabriel Brothers as well as for Allied Block and Chemical, New Eagle, Pa

Survivors include her husband, Charles Ray Shutterly; a son and daughter-in-law, John F. Kinder Jr. and his wife Beth of Dunlevy, Pa.; five daughters and sons-in-law: Jane and David McClay of Washington, Pa., Dina Rae and Barry Santoro of St. Augustine, Florida, Leigh and Phillip Walker of Dunlevy, Pa., Jamie Shutterly of Belle Vernon Pa., Kristen and Michael Slavik of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a sister, Joan and her husband Mike Bozik of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by four stepchildren: Scott and Chris Shutterly, Kurt and Terri Shutterly, Jon and Joy Shutterly, and Debora Shutterly.

Janice was preceded in death by a stepson, Cris Shutterly.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, (724.929.5300) www.FergusonFuneral HomeAndCrematory .com Funeral Services will be in the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10 a.m. Rev. Ken Jones will officiate.

Interment follows in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
