Arrest warrant issued for man in Forward Twp. fatal shooting
Police issued an arrest warrant for a man allegedly involved in a fatal shooting early Saturday morning outside a Forward Township bar.
Joshua Wardlaw, 21, is being charged in connection to the alleged shooting that killed one and injured two more in the parking lot of Saloon 136 on Rainbow Run Road in Forward Township.
Around 1:50 a.m. Johnathan W. Minnie, 27, of Belle Vernon was standing in the parking lot of Saloon 136 with a group of friends when a vehicle drove by and someone fired multiple rounds at them, according to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco.
Minnie was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 2:30 a.m., Warco said.
Police said two 27-year-old females suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to local hospitals where they are listed in stable condition.
He is charged with criminal homicide, two counts of criminal attempt, two counts of criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and recklessly endangering another person.
Police say Wardlaw frequents the Donora, Monessen, Rostraver Township, Carroll Township, and McKeesport areas.
