Pauline Mary (Petish) Ondrejko, 90 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016.

She was born on September 4, 1925 in South Union Township, Pa. the daughter of John F. Petish and Emma (Kaiser) Petish.

Preceding her in death were her parents; loving husband of 54 years, Martin J. Ondrejko Jr.; nephew, William J. Mlakar and brothers-in-law, John Mlakar and Tony Miller.

Pauline was a graduate of South Union High School Class of 1943.

She was employed with Fayette County Superintendent of School Office, Intermediate Unit No. 1, California and Westmoreland Special Education Department in Greensburg until her retirement in 1985.

Pauline was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church in Fairchance, the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, the Holy Rosary Society and a former Religious Education Teacher.

Surviving are her sisters, Cecilia Mlakar, Theresa Miller and Margaret Fitzpatrick and husband John all of Uniontown, Pa.; brother, John A. Petish and wife Louise of Grafton, Ohio; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. Friday evening (This evening) 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 13, 2016 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. A Funeral Mass follows at 10:00 a.m. in Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.

Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary this evening at 5:45.
