Mary Louise (Podlogar) Torrence, age 75, of Dawson, Pa., passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., surrounded by her family
She was born February 2, 194 in Leith, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of Anthony Podlogar and Rosella (Reposkey) Podlogar.
Mary Louise was a member of East Liberty Presbyterian Church in Vanderbilt, Pa.
She graduated from South Union High School, Class of 1958.
She is retired from Dr. Sridhar Putnam’s office of the Primary Care Physicians in Uniontown, Pa.
Mary Louise is survived by her husband, Ray Torrence of Dawson; three children: Delena Torrence and spouse Clara Lindley of Yulee, Florida, Jeffrey Torrence and wife Lucinda of Jacksonville, Florida, and Kathryn Boyle and husband Mark of Charleroi, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren: Christopher Soliday Sr., Karen Torrence and Cayce Nagy and husband Brad; six great grand children: Christopher Soliday Jr., Hunter Nagy, Caleigh Soliday, Noah Nagy, Savannah Hazel, Bryley Nagy; two sisters: Patricia Sheranko of West Mifflin, Pa., Lucille O’Neil of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; and one brother, Anthony Podlogar of Uniontown, Pennsylvania
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m at RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 Railroad Street, Dawson, Pa., where Services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. H. David McElroy will officiate.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
