Bertha J. Policz
Bertha J. Policz, age 74 of Carmichaels, Pa. died November 28, 2016 in her home.
Mrs. Policz was born August 20, 1942 in Denbo, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Ann (Snock) Ward.
Bertha is survived by her husband, Matthew R. Policz; two daughters, Diane Peterson (Raymond) of Tomah, Wisconsin and Debbie Boczek (Joseph) of Star City, W.Va.; 7 grand-children: Jerid Jento, Drew, Kara, Laurin Boczek, and Raymond, Sammy and Sarah Peterson; 2 brothers, Donald Ward of Fayette City and John Ward, Jr. of Clairton, and 3 sisters: Florence Gilbert of Waynesburg, Martha Shipley of Essex Junction, Vt. and Mary Lutton (Charles) of Bosier City, La.
A brother William Ward is deceased.
Mrs. Policz and her husband operated a Personal Care Home in Uniontown until their retirement.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Carmichaels.
Mrs. Policz was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Harold O. Kelley officiating in the Funeral Home Chapel.
