Martha Louise (Alexander) Sturm
Martha Louise (Alexander) Sturm, 92 years of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Sunday November 27, 2016 at her residence.
She was born July 15, 1924 in Menallen Township.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Theodore Alexander and Martha (Guthrie) Alexander and her husband Fred R. Sturm in January of 2002.
Louise had worked as a Secretary for the Uniontown Senior High School and with the Fayette County Draft Board.
She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Uniontown, which she supported throughout the years even when she was no longer able to attend services.
Louise was also a member of White Shrine of Jerusalem and was a very loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and many friends.
Surviving are two children, Jeffrey Sturm and wife Joyce of San Leandro, Calif. and Sherry Ziegler and husband Dr. Jay Ziegler of Washington, Pa.; six grandchildren: Seth Ziegler and wife Michelle, Megan Ziegler and Jeremy Field, Ashley Tomaceski and husband Justin, Jordan Myers and husband Larry, Aaron Sturm and Conner Sturm, three great-grandchildren: Aftyn, Caris and Collier Tomaceski and a brother Thomas Alexander and wife Betty of Katy, Texas.
Funeral Services were private under the direction of the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC. 164 South Mt. Vernon Avenue Uniontown, Pa. followed by interment in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
