Jacob Garrett Coffman
Jacob Garrett Coffman, age 24, Fredericktown, Pa., passed away Monday December 12, 2016 in his home.
He was born on September 30, 1992 in Anniston, Alabama son of Kenneth R. Coffman Jr. and Lisa (Grubbs) Ligon.
Mr. Coffman was a 2011 graduate of Beth-Center High School.
Garrett always enjoyed making people laugh.
Spending time with his friends and loved ones and helping them in any way he could, his love of music, playing video games and free spirit are all the things he will be remembered for.
He was also mechanically inclined and able to fix or repair most anything and particularly enjoyed working on cars and hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his father, Kenneth R. Coffman Jr. (Maria) of Fredericktown, Pa.; his mother, Lisa (Grubbs) Ligon of Heflin, Alabama seven siblings: Trey Coffman of Oakmont, Pa., Emily Coffman of Fredericktown, Pa., Riley Ligon and River Ligon both of Heflin, Alabama, Jon Ovial, Fredericktown Pa., Michael Ovial of Plum Borough Pa., and Elyse Ovial of Beallsville Pa.; maternal grand mother, Lawdean Grubbs of Heflin, Alabama; grandmother, Mary Corazzi of Fredericktown Pa.; numerous cousins.
Deceased are his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Virginia Coffman; and maternal grandfather, Henry Grubbs.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, PA 15333 where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Thomas officiating.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jen Fund, Post Office Box 64, Clarksville, PA 15322 or a charity of one’s choice.
