Two charged in Belle Vernon burglary

Rostraver Township police charged two people in connection with a burglary that occurred Dec. 12 at a home at 121 McGee Court, Belle Vernon.

Police were called to the residence around 9 p.m. Monday where they found Kimberly Crossland, 38, and her boyfriend William Tate, 43, inside the residence. Crossland lives at 123 McGee Court. Tate’s address is listed as 121 McGee Court.

A number of items that had reportedly been taken from 121 McGee Court were found inside Crossland’s residence, including a television, a DVD player and at least five guns. A desktop computer and accessories were also reported stolen from the home.

Crossland and Tate were charged with burglary, theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

Tate is being held at the Westmoreland County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond. Crossland is free after posting $5,000 bond.
