Louretta Madelyn Lehman, age 95, originally of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, died on December 15, 2016 in Mercy General Hospital at Sacramento, California after a brief illness.

She was born on September 5, 1921, the daughter of Louis Terry and Bessie Marguerite (Thomas) Terry.

Louretta was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Raymond Andrew ‘Bim’ Lehman who died in 1985, sisters Sue Bullock and Alice Jenkins; brothers Lawrence ‘Pete’, James, and Ray; and her parents.

She was a graduate of the class of 1939 at Georges Township High School.

She was a loving wife and mother and remained devoted to the memory of her mother who died in 1946.

After the death of her husband she became active at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Auburn, California, working in the church office.

Louretta possessed a passion for travel. She and Bim once traveled to Alaska where she began a lifetime friendship with Sandra and Larry Bunning of Mariposa, California. Later she added several trips to Europe. Two travel highlights took her to the Holy Land and later to Rome where she took great delight in seeing St. Pope John Paul II.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lynn (David) Campbell of West Sacramento, California; her sister Jane Wilson; brother Richard Terry, and many nieces and nephews.
