Diana U. (Urbani) Davidson

Diana U. (Urbani) Davidson, R.N., CRNA, 66, of Camp Hill, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Camp Hill.

Born in Uniontown, Pa., she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Petrus) Urbani.

Diana was a graduate of University Health Center of Pittsburgh School of Nurse Anesthesia and also Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

She was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.

Diana was a member of the Board of Health Volunteers Overseas, President Elect of Operation Medical, and a past President of the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

She established a Master’s in Nursing Anesthesia Program at both Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia and the University of Rwanda in Kigali, Rwanda, and became an honorary faculty member of the University of Rwanda.

Diana was a generous contributor to the Bethesda Mission and the Salvation Army.

She was a devout Catholic and is a member of Church of the Good Shepherd in Camp Hill.

Diana is survived by her husband of 42 years, Alan R. Davidson, of Camp Hill; a daughter, Alicia Davidson Zeiger and her husband Timothy of Camp Hill; a son, Stuart J. Davidson and his wife Nicole of Chicago Illinois; a sister, Joann Zambruno of Erie, Pa.; and innumerable family and friends who brought immense joy and richness into her life.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday December 29, 2016 in the CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD, 3435 East Trindle Road, Camp Hill with Reverend Benedict Faneye, O.P., as the Celebrant.

A viewing will be held in the Church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 30th at 12:00 Noon in the Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, 500 West Main Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania
