Mildred E. (Hostetler) Handschumaker
Mildred E. (Hostetler) Handschumaker, 92, formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Golden Heights Personal Care Home, Irwin, Pa., where she has been a resident since 2013.
She attended the Tent Presbyterian Church, Uniontown, Pennsylvania where she loved to sing.
While at the personal care home, she enjoyed the many activities they provided.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy and Mildred (Waser) Hostetler; her husband, William Handschumaker nine brothers and eight sisters.
Mildred is survived by her brothers: Bruce Hostetler of Barberton, Ohio, Frank Hostetler of Channelview, Texas, Glenn Hostetler of Horseheads, New York and Arthur Hostetler of Smithfield, Pennsylvania sister, Margaret Orgente of Lorain, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; several sisters-in-law; a devoted niece, Jo Ellen Hunter of North Carolina and nephew, Robert Karwatske of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Handschumaker officiating in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436.
