Pauline M. (Komperda) Buchton
Pauline M. Komperda Buchton, age 87, of Belle Vernon, Pa., went to be with the Lord from her home on Saturday, February 13, 2016.
A daughter of the now late Carl Komperda and Christine (Drotos) Komperda, she was born in Redstone Township, Fayette County, Pa., on Tuesday, November 13, 1928.
Pauline had resided in Washington Township most of her adult life.
She was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church in Belle Vernon, and a former member of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club.
She never missed a party and enjoyed playing bingo at the Belle Vernon High Rise and at the Center on the Hill.
Pauline’s smile was contagious.
She was a wonderful friend to all that knew her and will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband John Buchton Jr in 2010; three brothers, Carl Komperda, Vincent Komperda, and Daniel Komperda; and two sisters, Patricia Trozzo and Mary Lou Esola.
Survivors include her son Raymond (Elizabeth) Buchton of Port Royal, Virginia; her daughter, Barbara (Donald) Bridge of Belle Vernon, Pa.; two sisters: Caroline Patton of Monongahela, Pa., and Christine Komperda; three grandchildren: Donald (Georgann) Bridge of Great Mills, Maryland, Daniel (Tami) Bridge of Centerville, Pa. and David (Samantha) Bridge of Eighty Four Pa

Funeral Services will be in the funeral home on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Stabe officiating.
Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery, 176 Tranquility Lane, North Belle Vernon, Pa.
