House burns in Monongahela

A fire that broke out at a home in Monongahela early Monday is under investigation.

Officials said the fire started in the back of the house at 416 Parkinson St. at about 1:20 a.m., but the extent of the damage and cause is not yet known.

No injuries were reported.

New Eagle and Carroll Township fire departments assisted Monongahela fire department at the scene. Tri-County Ambulance Services and Monongahela and Carroll Township police also responded to the scene Monday.
