A 19-year-old man was shot outside a Uniontown residence after a fight.

Uniontown City Police say Terrance Lee Lewis was shot in the shoulder outside 43 Murray Ave. at about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

He was taken to Uniontown Hospital and then flown to a trauma center.

Police said Lewis told them he did not remember what happened.

They say they have identified a juvenile suspect, but no one has been charged.

A witness told police he was at his friend’s house with several other people when a dark-colored sport-utility vehicle pulled up and four males jumped out. He told police a fight began and two people fell to the ground.

He told police a third person from the SUV fired a gun four to six times, and the witness ran. He said the gun was “so small that it fit inside the palm of the shooter’s hand.”

Police are investigating.
