Floyd Thomas McDonough

Floyd Thomas McDonough, age 82, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Kindred Hospital, Beaver, Pennsylvania

Floyd was born in Fayette City, Pa., a son of the now late Annabelle (Reese) McDonough and Leonard Archie McDonough.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his sisters, Annabelle Myers and Gwendolyn Oakes; brothers-in-laws, Charles Myers and Joseph Furano; granddaughter, Denna.

Floyd served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

He worked at the Valve Division of TRW in Euclid, Ohio for 42 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret (Voithoffer) McDonough, who was the love of his life; his children: Barbara (Jake) Phillips, Diana (Gregory) Monasky, and Keith (Kathy) McDonough; g r a n d c h i l d r e n Konstantinos (Bridget), Tasia, Stefan, Michelle, Jennifer (Saad), and Marie (Allan); great grandchildren: Annabelle and Adriano; siblings: John Richard (Grace) McDonough, Edwina Lilley, Wanetta Rose Furano, Patricia Dianna (John) Harrison, David (Patty) McDonough.

Friends will be received at STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown Pa., on Wednesday, January 13, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

The Service, with Pastor Lee Maley, officiating, will be on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
