Jamie Lee (Hardy) Hilligas
Jamie Lee (Hardy) Hilligas, age 69, passed away on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 in her home in Farmington, Pa., while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Saturday August 24, 1946 in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio daughter of James Hardy and Margaret (Chisnell) Hardy.
Jamie graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, Mount Pleasant, Ohio, class of 1964.
She worked in medical records for the Martin’s Ferry Hospital and while in Ohio was very active in her community.
When Jamie moved to Farmington, Pa., she worked as a Bookkeeper for several years for the Mount Summit Inn.
Jamie was preceded in death by a her parents; and a grandson, Will Mitchell.
Jamie is survived by her loving husband of forty-six years, Charles Hilligas; a daughter, Charlene Marie Kopacko and husband Rob of Farmington, Pa.; a son, James D Hilligas and wife Sherry of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren: Heather Jane Mitchell and Morgan Kopacko; one sister, Anne Marie Besece and her husband Delbert of Adena, Ohio; and one brother-in-law, William Mitchell Jr.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa.
Services will be private honoring her request.
