E-F swimmers split meet with West Mifflin
West Mifflin (girls) 92, Elizabeth-Forward 67; Elizabeth-Forward (boys) 84, West Mifflin 55 – The Elizabeth-Forward swim team split a non-section meet at West Mifflin Tuesday with the Warriors winning, 84-55, and the West Mifflin girls taking a 92-67 decision.
Kole Faychak (200 IM), Ryan Kracun (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Seth Andres (50 freestyle), Severn Squibb (100 freestyle), and Tanner Faircloth (100 breaststroke) all had individual first-place finishes for the Warriors.
The Warriors swept the relays, with Faychak, Kracun, Andres and Squibb winning the 200 medley relay, Squibb, Ben Durant, Faychak and Andres taking the 200 freestyle relay and David Brady, Tyler Boden, Carson Tokar and Jason Thierry winning the 400 freestyle relay.
The West Mifflin girls swept each event, but Elizabeth-Forward had second-place finishes from Stephanie Hurley (50 freestyle), Natasha Trainor (100 butterfly), Calissa Hrabosky (100 freestyle), and the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.
