Thelma Rose (Brown) Adams, age 89, of Dilliner, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, January 19 2016 in the GoldenLiving Center, Waynesburg, Pa.

Thelma was born at Poland Mines, Pa., on Monday, September 6, 1926, Labor Day, the daughter of Geneva Rose (David) Brown and Harry Franklin Brown.

Mrs. Adams was a member of Mapletown United Methodist Church and a former member of the Carmichaels Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed bingo, camping, and bowling in her spare time.

On Friday, May 21, 1948, Thelma married Ralph Adams Jr., who is now deceased.

Also deceased are her parents; daughter, Diana Ruth Adams; and three brothers, Harry M. Brown, William Brown, and Kenneth Brown.

Surviving are four children: Ellen Adams Keenan (Teri) of Escondido, California, Carol Boyd (Stephen) of Tucson, Arizona, David Adams (Christine) of Headlee Heights, Greene County, Pa., and Ralph Adams (Minda) of Garards Fort, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends will be received in the LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320 (724.966.5100), Paul M. Lesako, Funeral Director//Supervisor, on Friday, January 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 23, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The Service will begin at 1:05 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with H. David McElroy, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Greensboro.
