Helen Marge (Bielawski) Rotheram Farquhar, age 74, of Allenport, Pa., died on Tuesday, January 19, 2015 at the Mon Valley Care Center.

Born in North Charleroi, Pa., on Friday, July 11, 1941 a daughter of John Bielawski and Margaret (Mahalic) Bielawski.

Marge was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Roscoe, Pa., and a past president and member of the Saint Joseph’s Ladies Guild for many years.

For 20 years, Marge served as head of the Kitchen Committee at Saint Joseph’s.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Charles Rotheram.

She is survived by her husband, Merle Farquhar; two sons and daughters-in-law: Charles and Colleen Rotheram of Stockdale, Pa., Robert and Judy Rotheram of North Olmsted, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Joseph Matzel of Sidney, New York; a brother, John Bielawski of Roscoe, Pa.; a sister, Barbara Qupec of Erie, Pa.; nine grandchildren: Laura, Matthew, Jeffrey and Brian all of North Olmsted, Ohio, Charles ‘CJ’ and Cassandra both of Stockdale, Pa., Krista, Joey and Samantha all of Sidney, New York; and several cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe, PA 15477 (724.938.9323).

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 105 Good Street, Roscoe.

Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery 525 Dally Road, Coal Center, PA 15423.
