Man arrested after burglary, assault in Georges Twp.
A Fairchance man was arrested after he allegedly broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend in Georges Township twice in one night.
Jacob Scott Miscovich, 42, allegedly broke into the house on Circle Street after threatening a woman, according to court documents.
Police said the woman has a protection-from-abuse order against Miscovich. She told police he went to her house multiple times Saturday and called her, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
He allegedly told her on the phone, “Tell your boy I’m coming to your house and I have a gun,” the affidavit says.
Later that day, police said he broke a window and forced the door open. He allegedly punched Carl Moore and headbutted him.
The woman told police she locked herself in her bedroom and Miscovich broke it off the hinges. After a brief verbal altercation, Miscovich left, police said.
Police responded just after 11 p.m. and saw the woman with a blood-stained T-shirt and blood-covered face. They were unable to locate Miscovich.
Police said he returned again and hit Moore in the testicles just before 2 a.m. They responded a second time, but were unable to find him.
He was arrested later Sunday and arraigned on a $20,000 bond.
He is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and two counts each of burglary and criminal trespass filed before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Shimshock.
He is lodged in Fayette County Prison.
