Odessa Rose (Miller) Jenkins passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016.
She was born on Friday, March 20, 1925, in Whitesville, West Virginia, the daughter of John H. Miller and Susie May (Howard) Miller.
Odessa was preceeded in death by two sons, Phillip W. Tunstell and James E. Jenkins Jr.
She is survived by the following children: Frank B. Tunstell of Uniontown, Pa., Surritta M. Floyd of Uniontown, Pa., Dolores Shannon of Louisville, Kentucky, Debra A. Curry of Louisville, Kentucky, Sharon J. Johnson of Uniontown, Pa., the Rev. Kathy Austin (Henry) of Uniontown, Pa., Linda Richardson (Mark) of Smock, Pa., Derrick W. Jenkins of Uniontown, Pa and Crystal L. Calloway and husband Leon of Wichita Falls, Texas.
She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Charlie (Kay) Miller of Memphis, Tennessee, Bill Miller of Dunbar, West Virginia, Janice Ragland of Compton, California, Rennie (Joan) Miller of Reading, Massachusetts, Arthur Miller of Toledo, Ohio, Lige Miller of Long Beach, California, the Reverend Melvin (Jean) Miller of Cordova, Tennessee, Bernice Miller of Long Beach, California, and Elaine Johnson of Greensboro, North Carolina.
She leaves behind four generations (150 in all) of grandchildren.
Also, there are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends left to cheirsh her memory.
Friends will be received at the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME INC., 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, January 31, 2016 from 11 a.m, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service.
