Alicia Kaye “Ish” Vicinelly
Alicia Kaye Vicinelly, known as ‘Ish’ by all who knew and loved her, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at her home in McClellandtown, Pa., with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Uniontown, Pa., Tuesday, August 26, 1952 the daughter of Raoul A. Vicinelly and Betty (Maldovan) Vicinelly.
Alicia graduated from Albert Gallatin High School, Class of 1970, and from California State Teachers College in California, Pa., in 1974.
Before retiring, she was employed by the Albert Gallatin Area School District as an Elementary School Teacher at A.L. Wilson Elementary School in Fairchance, Pa. and was a member of PSEA.
Alicia loved reading, the beach, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She was a member of Masontown Brethren Church.
She was predeceased by her father, Raoul A. Vicinelly.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Betty (Maldovan) Vicinelly; brothers and sisters: Raoul A. (Mary Ann) Vicinelly Jr., Vicki (David) Berish, Gina (Terry) Dugan, Susie Corcoran, Dennis (Pamela) Vicinelly.
Memories of ‘Ish’ will also be cherished by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and one great great nephew: Michelle, Janelle, Marissa, Amanda, Ashley, Valerie, Randi, Stephanie, Jerome, Jarrod, Derek, Lexi, Alaina, Frankie, Hadyn, Colton, Karsyn, Hudson, Davey, Garrett, Levi and Neil. ‘Ish’ will also be greatly missed by her special cousins: Linda and husband Joe Bartock; and long time friend, Sonya Over.
Alicia’s family would like to extend their greatest appreciation and kindness to the Amedisys Health Care Service (especially Beth and Kim), and also Reverend James Dice.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., Sunday, January 31, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m and Monday, February 1, until 10:00 a.m., the hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend James Dice will officiate.
In lieu of other tokens of sympathy, the family requests that donations be made to the German- Masontown Library, 104 South Main Street, Masontown, PA 15461.
