Charles L. “Chuck” Menestrina
Charles L. Menestrina, age 88, of Rostraver Township, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in the Allegheny Health Network’s Jefferson Hospital.
Born in Meriden, Connecticut on Thursday May 26, 1927, he was the son of the now late Secondo Menestrina and Mary (Pittigher) Menestrina Gasperini.
‘Chuck’ was an Equipment Fabricator for Lee-Norse Mining Equipment where he retired after 42 years.
He was a member of the Church of Saint Anne where he was an Usher and a janitor for many years.
He was also a member of the American Legion and the Slavik Citizens Club both in Charleroi.
He liked playing cards and enjoyed hunting.
He served Honorably in the United States Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bruna Keyock; and a brother-in-law, Alex Keruskin.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Zielinsky) Menestrina; two sisters: Della Keruskin, Louise (Al) Royak; nieces and nephews: Patricia (Brad) Benkoski, Terry (Dannette) Royak, Brian Keruskin and Lori Mendicino; and step children: Helen, Susie, Rudy, Joe, John, Andy.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of Saint Anne 1870 Rostraver Road, Belle Vernon, PA 15012 with Rev. Father Vincent J. Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Interment with Full Military Rites and Honors will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
