Robert E. “Shake” Masters

Robert E. ‘Shake’ Masters, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home in Adah, Pennsylvania.

He was born on Thursday, December 10, 1953 in Uniontown, Pa., a son of Robert Masters and Pauline (Sebesky) Masters.

Robert was a retired Coal Miner, with thirty-five years service, from Alpha Resources Cumberland Mine and a member of the UMWA (United Mine Workers of America) Local 2300.

He was also formerly employed at the United States Steel’s Clairton Works.

He was a member of the Adah Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his loving wife, Lorraine D. (Price) Masters; step daughters: Amanda Chetosky of Leckrone, Pa., and Samantha Say and husband Gregory of Charlottesville, Virginia; step grandchildren: Cassidy, Hunter, and Meadow; his twin sister, Karen Rosinski and her husband Robert of Uniontown, Pa.; nieces: Christine Stone and her husband Donald of New Salem, Pa., and Melissa Wallis and her husband Kevin of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a great nephew, Liam Stone.

The family will receive friends in ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., One Legion Street, Republic, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon when a Blessing Service will be held with Reverend Father James B. Morley officiating.
