Albert “Gabby” Clifford Robinson
Albert ‘Gabby’ Clifford Robinson, age 81, of Braznell, Pennsylvania went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 7, 2016.
He was born on Monday, August 13, 1934 in North Union Township Fayette County, Pa., to the late Sarah Robinson.
Albert served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956 where he was stationed in Japan.
Albert was a lifelong member of the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where he proudly served as an Elder for more than 50 years.
Albert loved baseball and coached youth in the Brownsville Area Little League for many years.
He also loved to play softball and played for over 45 years.
Albert retired from CSX Railroad where he was an Electrician.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Margaret Roberts Robinson.
Albert is survived by his loving companion, Carol Potter; four children: Debbie Murphy and husband William, Valarie Barnhart and husband Robert, Bruce Robinson, Joni Robinson.
He leaves behind five grandsons of whom he was deeply proud: William Albert Murphy, Brent Murphy and wife Kristen, Rob Barnhart and wife Bobbi Jo, Jacob Barnhart and wife Jessica, Joshua Barnhart.
He also leaves behind great granddaughters, Alyssa Dawn Murphy and Olivia Louise Barnhart, who gave him immense joy.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Lay Minister Karen Zueger officiating.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., with Full Military Rites and Honors accorded by American Legion Posts 940, 295, 838 and 275.
