Belle Vernon man killed in motorcycle accident

A Belle Vernon man was killed in a motorcycle accident late Tuesday night in Jefferson Township.

State police said Dominic Joseph Mavrikas, 23, was traveling on Route 201, near Cope Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his Harley Davidson.

Police said the call came in around 10:30 p.m., and that he sustained fatal injuries.
