Linda Lee (Gilpin) Thomas, age 46, Eldora, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2016
Linda was born on Monday, July 14, 1969 in North Charleroi, Pa., the daughter of Robert Lee Gilpin and Erma Howard Gilpin of Eldora.
She graduated from Ringgold High School in the class of 1987 and also graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
Linda was employed at the Walmart in Brownsville where she was a Department Manager and was also a Tax Specialist at HR Block.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Charleroi, where she volunteered as a Vacation Bible School (VBS) teacher and a Camp Counselor at Camp Laurelview.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Thomas; and twin daughters, Anna and Belle; maternal grandparents, Erma and Ernest Howard; paternal grandparents Florence and Elliott Gilpin; and sister, Rose Ann Gilpin.
In addition to her parents Linda is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jeremy Snipes; a niece, Savanna Snipes whom she loved and adored; and a step-daughter, Jessica. Also surviving are aunts, uncles and cousins.
Linda touched the lives of so many people and we want to celebrate the life and joys of her legacy together. Linda will no longer be in pain, for she is in the arms and care of her Lord.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME &Amp; CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 226 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, PA 15022.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. in funeral home. Pastor Charles Cochran will officiate.
Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Linda Lee Thomas Memorial Fund through the funeral home
