Robert Eugene “Bob” Tate
Robert Eugene ‘Bob’ Tate, age 77 years, of Haydentown, Pa., died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
He was born on Tuesday, September 13, 1938 in Haydentown, Pa. the son of Clara Mae (Chipps) Tate and Lewis Edward Tate.
‘Bob’ was a retired Electrician and Roofer, an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and hunter.
He enjoyed having his family around, as long as it was at his house!
Preceding him in death were his beloved wife of 56 years, Nancy Carole (Yauger) Tate (Monday December 28, 2015); a son, Robert E. Tate Jr.; his parents; brothers, Theodore Marshall Tate and Charles Louis Tate; and sisters, Leona Tate Kern and Annabelle Tate
Surviving are his children: Twila Dennis and her husband Darwin Sherry Metz and her husband Carl, Audrey Tate and ‘Tiger’, Matt Tate, Jenny Miller and Jimmy; grandchildren: Nikki and her husband Mitchell, Lauren, Joe, Carrie and husband JR, Kenny, Amber, Camryn; great grandchildren: Gabbie, Jackson, Jayvion and Phoebe; siblings: Virginia Pearl Braddee, Lucy Evans, Bill Tate and Claretta Angell; many nieces, nephews, family; and his beloved pets: Taz and Grump.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Thursday March 17, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
