Sherrie Lee (Takah) Shimko, age 64, of New Salem, Pa., passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 in Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., today and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, March 19, 2016 until 9:30 a.m. when a Panachida Service will be held.

Divine Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, Church Street, New Salem, Pa., with Rev. Father Christopher R. Burke as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa

A Parastas Service will be held in funeral home Friday evening at 7:00.
