Timothy Edward “Tim” Dowdell, Executive Chef at Luigi’s and also Pleasant Valley Country Club
Timothy Edward Dowdell, age 60, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly of natural causes on Friday, March 11, 2016.
‘Tim’ was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, November 15, 1955 to Leroy and Lenora (Mayer) Dowdell.
Tim owned/operated Hartwood Contractors Inc. for more than 15 years.
He also held position as Executive Chef of Luigi’s and also the Pleasant Valley Country Club.
Tim was a renaissance man, but above all else, he was an amazing story teller, had a beautiful singing voice, enjoyed fishing and miniature golf with his family.
Father of five: Tara Stage and her husband Charlie, Erin Gibbens and her husband Ryan, Evan Dowdell and his wife Holly, Andrea Hebda and her husband Frank and Ryan Dowdell; grandfather of Rebecca Stage, Christian Stage, Grace Gibbens, Clara Gibbens, Nora Gibbens.
Preceded in death by siblings, Francis Adrian Dowdell and Mary Dowdell-Illsley; and also survived by six siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Tim loved his children and his grandchildren immensely and will forever be remembered for his enormous capacity for love.
Arrangements are private and are being handled by the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pennsylvania
Memorial Service is being planned by his children for the spring.
