A Brownsville man was ordered to stand trial Monday on charges alleging he kidnapped and assaulted a 15-year-old girl.

Christopher Wiley Brown, 30, was held for court on two counts of kidnapping, false imprisonment, corruption of minors, unlawful restraint and two counts of indecent assault following a hearing in central court. Brown is free on bail.

Brown allegedly asked the girl’s father to have her spend the night at his residence at 305A Front Street on Feb. 10 as part of a loan agreement, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

The girl told police Brown agreed to loan her father money if she cared for his fiancee, Helen Barricklow, at the residence.

Police said Barricklow is disabled. In addition, the girl’s father was required to complete household repairs at Brown’s house, according to the affidavit.

Police said Brown texted the girl’s father Tuesday, asking for the girl to come over to keep Barricklow company.

The girl told police the three of them watched TV, and Brown later bathed Barricklow and put her to bed.

“A short time later, Brown returned with leg shackles and told the victim she will be wearing the ‘foot chains,'” state police Trooper Craig Spisak wrote in the affidavit of probable cause. “Brown went to his bedroom a second time and returned with a box that contained a ball gag and handcuffs.”

Brown allegedly cuffed the alleged victim’s wrists behind her back, placed the ball gag in her mouth and the shackles on her legs and told her to touch his genitals.

He allegedly told her to sleep in the leg shackles, but she was able to unlock them.

Police said the girl texted her father, who later met her and called 911.

The teen’s father is not facing charges
