Margaret Mae (Williams) Abbott
Margaret Mae (Williams) Abbott, age 72 of Confluence, Pa. passed away Saturday March 26, 2016 in Somerset Hospital.
She was born on Thursday, July 22, 1943 in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of Hilary Williams and Ester Mae {Burnworth} Williams.
Margaret loved spending time with her family playing pinochle and other card games, crocheting, plastic canvas, caring for others, bingo, sewing, and baby sitting and camping when she was younger.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Franklin Abbott; her parents; siblings, Donald Williams, Hartzel Williams, Mary Daniels.
Surviving are eight children: Sandra and James Conn, Esther and Harlen King, Thomas Abbott all of Confluence, Pa., Nancy Abbott of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, Josephine and Sam Spittal of Ursina, Pa., Joseph Franklin Jr. and Sue Abbott of Garrett, Pa., Jonathan and Betty Abbott of Ursina, Pa., and Brenda and Jody Rugg of Confluence, Pa.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; four siblings: Thomas Williams, Confluence, Pa Roy and Norma Williams of McClellandtown, Pa., William and Shirley Williams, Gibbon Glade, Pa., Frank and Anna Grace Milliron of McClellandtown, Pa.; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of the Service. Rev. Dean Hay will officiate.
Interment will be in Maple Summit Cemetery.
