‘Cardiac event’ led to death of man found in Bullskin Twp.

The autopsy results for an Acme man found dead along a road in Bullskin Township show he had a “cardiac event.”

The final results in the death of Todd Neiderhiser, 48, of Acme are pending toxicology results, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s office.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing a car speed away before the body was found along Brown Barn Road at about 6:15 p.m. Monday.

There was no outward signs of trauma or injury to Neiderhiser, police said. State police are continuing to investigate the incident as a suspicious death. They could not yet confirm witness’ accounts.

Police are looking for his car, a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu with Pennsylvania registration JLY 0584.
