Franklin Scott Swaney
Franklin Scott Swaney, 36 of Lemont Furnace, Pa. died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born February 11, 1980 in Morgantown, W.Va.
Surviving are his wife, Tiffany A. Heitzer Swaney; father, George A. Swaney, Sr. and girlfriend Tammy; mother, Nettie B. Nottingham and husband William “Dale” Gary and close cousin, Tim Swaney.
He was predeceased by his brother, George A. Swaney Jr.
Frank was a graduate of Laurel High School Class of 1997, attended West Virginia University, graduate of California University Class of 2004 and graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Law Class of 2007 and he practiced law for himself and other various firms in the Pittsburgh area.
He was also co-owner of F & S Ice Cream Trucks for 20 years.
Frank had a bright mind, and an even bigger heart. He valued relationships with others above material things, and was considered a dear friend to many people far and wide, from all walks of life.
His journey on this earth was spent walking along side others, always seeking new adventures and travelling. He would adamantly argue against anyone who would say that he squandered his time here.
The family greeted friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service began at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Buzz Hall officiating.
