State police said the suspect was driving a newer model white Dodge Ram.
They did not release any additional information on the suspect Monday afternoon.
A mangled bike lay in a lane of Connellsville Street while police investigated. A pedal and baseball cap lay several feet away, near the shoulder of the road.
About one mile of Connellsville Street from U.S. 119 was closed for several hours while state police investigated.
The crash occurred less than two miles from a second hit-and-run accident that occurred outside Smitty’s Bar on North Gallatin Avenue Extension Oct. 30.

Police identified the driver in the October accident as David Lee Lincoln, 47, of Lemont Furnace. He was charged with homicide by vehicle and related charges and lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
